Comprehensive skin exams

We provide comprehensive skin exams for the diagnosis and prevention of acute or chronic skin conditions. Skin exams may be conducted annually, or in regular periodic intervals based on your medical history. A skin exam generally involves the visual and manual inspection of the skin, and occasionally a skin biopsy (the removal of a small area of skin for laboratory testing) if required. Ideally, you would be seen annually, but Dr. Mueller always recommends that if you are concerned about any lesion, to call the office right away and you’ll be worked in for evaluation. Don’t ignore any changing spots! An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
